Ronald A. B., COE, CEO
Ron Blue, COE, has worked as the Executive Administrator of FSN for the past 19 years. Before his tenure at FSN, he served in the same capacity for Dillman Eye Care Associates for 18 years. In his 37-year career, he has been an active charter member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA), has served as the Vice-Chair for the National Board for the Certification of Ophthalmic Executives, and was a member of the Eyeworld Editorial Board. Mr. Blue credits his career to his role models, Dr. Dave Dillman and Dr. Jerry Swale, for providing their encouragement, empowerment, inspiration, and unwavering support. Ron is a graduate of Butler University College of Pharmacy. Ron and his wife, Nancy, have four adult children, five (soon to be seven) grandchildren, and will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Ron always tries to remember that no success can compensate for failure in the home.
Samantha J., COE, CMHP
Samantha is our Assistant Administrator. She joined the FSN team in 2019 & has over 8 years of ophthalmology experience. She graduated from DeVry University with her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2018. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) in addition to being a Certified Patient Service Specialist (CPSS) and a Certified MACRA-MIPS Professional (CMHP). She is currently working towards obtaining both Advanced Leadership Certification and Executive Leadership Certification.
Samantha enjoys working with her peers to provide an extraordinary level of care to each of our patients. In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, her dogs, Baloo and Wrigley, and her cat, Binx.
Mery M., COT
Mery is our team’s Clinical Manager. She first joined the FSN team in November 2011. Mery wears many hats in our office and plays an integral part of our team. With the knowledge that she gained working as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, Surgical Coordinator, and Patient Service Associate, there is no problem that she cannot solve. Mery was promoted to Clinical Manager in 2020 and is currently furthering her career by working to obtain her COE (Certified Ophthalmic Executive) Designation. In her free time Mery enjoys spending time with her husband & children.
Kimberly M.
Kimberly joined the FSN team as a Patient Service Specialist in March 2019. She was promoted to Billing Manager in February 2020 and then to Business Manager in 2021. Kimberly is a certified phlebotomist. She enjoys helping our patients with billing questions and ensures that the billing process is being done correctly from start to finish. Kim is married and is a proud mom of two wonderful children.
Rita L., CPSS
Rita has been a part of the FSN team for over 4 years. She is our team’s Patient Service Manager. She is a Certified Patient Service Specialist (CPSS) and works hard to supervise our call center, and front desk staff to ensure each patient has the best experience possible. She is our scheduling & customer service expert. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing about working at FSN is the family atmosphere among the staff and the patients.
